Winners will be announced and may collect their prizes at the end of the evening at West Marine. If your online bid is the highest, you will be notified by on June 9th or 10th, and arrangements made for payment and prize delivery.

Reel comes with a signed and numbered 11x14-inch giclee print of a snook by famed author/illustrator James Prosek. The American-made Abel Super 7/8N is machined from cold finished aerospace grade aluminum and precision machined. Determining the best diet to feed larval snook in a hatchery is one of the research questions under study at Mote Aquaculture Park. Winners of this trip will get hands on experience with researcher Carole Neidig.
Scientist-Guided Tour and Fishing Trip at Snook Hatchery - Snook Pond, Mote Aquaculture Park. (Current Bid - $400)
Staff scientist Carole Neidig will provide the winner with a tour of the snook and pompano broodstock and juvenile areas of Mote Aquaculture Park in Sarasota, FL. The winner will help with preparing food and feeding the fish, work with researchers to take water quality readings and perform system checks, while learning about the nuts and bolts of stock enhancement. After the morning in the Snook & Pompano nursery, they will fish for two hours at the MAP pond where mature bluegills, Breeder-size Big snook, and tilapia are abundant. They must release the snook and record fish data. The winning bid for this item will help fund this special project:
